I'm not sure about the science guiding his claims, but there are many, many people who trust them.

One of the primary advantages of green tea I found out about was weight loss. I have heard many claims that green tea can assist you shed weight by improving your metabolic process. I have also heard that one benefit of green tea is that it may help eliminate fat and toxins out of your system. I don't know if this is true, but I know that after I drink a cupful of hot, green tea every night, I actually do tend to feel better for the most part. I am not sure why this is, but it is certainly a good reason to keep drinking it.

Among the other great things about green tea I have heard is the fact that if you drink enough of it that it can assist you to restrain your appetite. I've seen weight-loss aids on the shelves at my local store that claim this is among the great benefits of green tea, and that they have put this green tea right into their product. Furthermore, I saw a gum made out of green tea, which was designed to help suppress your appetite in between meals. I do not know if the green tea aids, but I do know that chewing gum between meals can certainly stop you from eating. This is more of a psychological thing than anything else though.

It won't matter if you believe the benefits of green tea are good for you or not. The great thing about green tea is that it certainly won't harm you if you drink it. If the only benefits of green tea are that you're relaxed and calm each evening, and perhaps it is certainly worth the trouble you may go to. If you're wondering what it really can do for you, maybe you should experiment a little to discover what will happen. Add green tea to your daily diet, and see if you find that you are feeling better, or simply reducing your weight a bit more easily.
